Having relived the 30th reunion, I really wanted to be at the 40th. But, July 25th was also the culmination of our week-long Youth Convention...and being the choir director and musician made it difficult for me to compromise my time here in VA and there in Chgo. And I think the young people and my 4 yr old daughter would've reminded me of the word 'commitment' . By the way, I was bitten by the "theater bug", 15 yrs after Bowen ( Parkway, ETA, and Beverly Arts ), and it stayed in my blood. Recent developments here in Chesapeake have rekindled that love. I had a blast and re-kindled old friendships how cool after 40 years. my only regret is I lost the package that we got when we registered. I think it happened when I was doing the twist. if someone has an extra please contact me and I will pay the postage. but most important I had Mark Bauerle's info written on it and I wanted to stay in touch with him.

What an unbelievable event! We are so fortunate to have the people we had to put this reunion together! How wonderful, to reconnect with old friends & still to even make new friends. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I'll never forget! Hi old friends!
I find someone both exhausted and thrilled back home here in los angeles musing about my return trip to 1969. Having had only 4 hours sleep, I am still on a high after all of the dancing, singing, laughing and visiting we all did. It took me back to a simpler, sweeter time of life. For a few hours, I actually felt like I was back there. My spirit was high and my feet had wings on the dance floor. Thank you all for being so wonderful and reminding me of my incredible launching pad!!
